Easter Musical by ARNEL DE PANO.
Our easter cantata is extra special this year,
since KNOX UMC will be joined by the
magnificent choirs of KAMUNING FIRST UMC &
TAYTAY UMC, forming an estimated 100-voice
choir.

There's More Like Charlie To Come

Confused. Tired.
Lost. Low self-esteem.
This is CHARLIE!
The launching of WOW NIGHT
(Wonders of Worship) last January 31, 2008 was a
remarkable one, not only because of the good
attendance, but especially because of what God
has done to the lives of the people who attended
... most especially that of Charlie's, for this
his night.
Who is Charlie? He is a man who God has brought
from Novaliches to Sta. Cruz outside our church.
He was looking for an opportunity to end his
life due to family problems, by drinking a
small bottle of Muriatic Acid which he has
bought. His presence outside the church was
noticed by Pastor Robert Parcasio. He was then
invited to come in to listen to the Word of God
on our WOW NIGHT.
We firmly believed that it was not an accident
but a divine appointment and divine intervention
of GOD upon his life. He was prayed for and
introduced to JESUS during the counseling
session of our WOW NIGHT.
How we wish we could spend more time with him
but the night was quickly fading and sending him
back home with faith and with the assistance of
our church security guard was the best thing we
can do for now. As of this moment we
haven’t heard any news from him but we are
assured that a seed has been planted in his
heart, and we just entrust him to the Lord
hoping that this seed will continue to desire to
know the truth.
As WOW NIGHT
continues to answer the call of God in
reaching the less fortunate, the hurt, the lost,
and whatever situation they are in now, we are
praying that God will send forth more people
like Charlie, someone who needs Hope, Peace,
Security and Happiness so they can experience
transformation upon their lives.
The harvest is already here and God is looking
for more "Good Samaritans” who are willing to
be a channel of blessings in leading others to
Christ, the author of life!

If she were a melody, DULCE
would be a symphony. Who has not heard of Dulce,
the singer with a voice that overpowers and
electrifies. She is one of the most enduring
singers we have today.
On Feb. 9 (Saturday), you
will have a chance to hear “the voice” as
Knox United Methodist Church stages an
inspirational valentine concert entitled
“LOVERS FOR CHRIST”, at the Celebrity
Sports Plaza. She will be joined by equally
talented special guests: renowned tenor NOLYN
CABAHUG, Manila’s Pop Virtuoso REUBEN
LAURENTE, SARAH BALABAGAN, and Papuri
Artists HENRY SANTOS & ROMI VALLE.
Tickets are priced at P1000 each,
