"Let Heaven and Nature Sing"
- A Christmas Choir Festival
"For God so loved the world so much that He gave
His only Son ..." This unchanging message of
Christmas always calls us to rejoice and
celebrate God's eternal love and generosity in
giving us His only Son, Jesus Christ. As dearly
beloved children, we receive countless blessings
even in times of economic difficulties and
therefore, the work of the Lord continues as
kind-hearted people and mission partners help
the church in serving the needs of the
community. Their generosity and love will
always serve as inspiration and encouragement to
us to remain faithful to the ministry despite
the many challenges we are facing.
It is for this reason that we humbly invite you
to join us in a musical celebration of the birth
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, dubbed "Let
Heaven and Nature Sing: A Christmas Choir
Festival." This will be held on November 30,
2008, 6:00 in the evening at Knox United
Methodist Church featuring the selected choirs
of the local churches within the Northwest Metro
Manila District together with Ms. Sarah
Balabagan. Proceeds of the Festival will help
support the growing mission work of the district
and the annual Christmas Cheers for Church
Workers.

KNOX UMC TO HOLD ITS FIRST WORSHIP AND MUSIC
CONFERENCE August 7,
2008
Knox United Methodist Church, in
celebration of its 110th Anniversary,
will be having its 1st Worship and
Music Conference entitled “Ignite The
Fire” on September 20, 2008, from
8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The conference will be held
at Knox UMC.
The objective of this event is two-fold: 1) To
refresh the participants’ orientation on the
Biblical Foundation and Origins of Worship; and
2) To equip the participants with the current
trends and techniques on their chosen
ministries.
The conference will include
morning plenary sessions, specialized workshops
in the afternoon and will culminate with a
Worship Celebration. This will be led by Rev.
Clem Guillermo, Pastor Henry Santos,
and other respectable Music and Worship speakers
from different churches and organizations.
This conference is open to all Pastors,
Christian Workers, Worship and Music Ministry
Teams, Singers, Band Members, Dancers, Technical
Teams, and anyone with a passion for Worship.

JOINT WORSHIP SERVICE
SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
For
Every Last Sunday of the Month August 5,
2008
Starting August
2008, every last Sunday of the month will
be a special day where we will worship together
in a JOINT WORSHIP SERVICE, which will
start at 9:00AM. For August, the
joint service will be on August 31, 2008.
Several special
activities will also be scheduled on this day,
such as the Music Ministers Sunday, and the
Launch of our Worship Factory.
Even though there won't be any other services in
the morning aside from our Joint Worship
Service, the Vesper Worship Service will
still follow it's regular Sunday schedule.

ANNOUNCES NEW MINISTERIAL STAFF ASSIGNMENTS
FOR C.Y. 2008-2009 June 1, 2008
We are glad to
announce this year's new ministerial staff
assignments, which will take effect on June 1,
2008.
Rev. Robert Parcasio will now serve as
Knox's new Administrative Pastor, while our
previous Administrative Pastor Rev. Conrado
Cruz will continue to serve the Tagalog
Service Congregation.
We are also happy to
welcome Rev. Agapito Bautista, who will
handle the Ilocano and Vesper Services.
